Coming from the South:

I-75 North to exit 270 (Waters Exit) go West on Marlette Road one mile to Old 27.

Turn right (North) on Old 27 two miles to Mancelona Road (C-38)(yellow blinker light).

Turn left (West) on Mancelona Rd. and go five miles to Mt. Frederick Rd.

Turn left (South) on Mt. Frederick Rd and go a mile and a half to Nicholas Drive. (Entrance to Wilderness Valley / Black Forest Golf Courses.)

Turn right (West) on Nicholas Drive and go one quarter mile to Calumet Trail.

Turn right (North) on Calumet Trail and take it a half mile until it dead-ends at Alpine Snow Cabin.

Coming from the North:

I-75 South to exit 279 Gaylord/Waters Exit.

Turn right (South) on Old 27 and go five mile to Mancelona Rd (C-38)(yellow blinker light).

Turn right (West) on Mancelona Road and go five miles to Mt. Frederick Road.

Turn left (South) on Mt. Frederick road and go a mile and a half to Nicholas Drive. (Entrance to Wilderness Valley / Black Forest Golf Courses.

Turn right (West) on Nicholas Drive and go one quarter mile to Calumet Trail.

Turn right (North) on Calumet Trail and take it a half mile until it dead-ends at Alpine Snow Cabin.
